Experience
My public service to the community began shortly after I moved to Bexley in 1975. In the thirty years I've been a resident of Bexley, some of the ways I have served the City and the school district include:
1. Mayor's appointee to the Recreation Board;
2. Co-Chair of the first fundraising drive for
The Bexley Education Foundation;
3. Board Member of the Bexley Education Foundation;
4. School Board member from 1985 through 1997,
serving as its President from 1989 through 1995;
5. Board of Education designee to the Recreation Board.
I'm running for Mayor, not because of discontent, a single issue or a particular agenda, but because I see an opportunity to apply my leadership ability to move Bexley forward during the next few years.
Bexley is a unique community which derives much of its uniqueness from an extraordinarily talented citizenry, a strong commitment to school excellence, an active involvement in civic affairs, and a genuine love for the City. And while there is much to be proud of in Bexley, there remains much to do.
